Travon Pratt dies in fatal Central-Alameda shooting

Fatal Central-Alameda shooting death of Travon Pratt

Travon Pratt, 48, has been identified as one of two victims killed in a shooting that occurred Monday night in the Central-Alameda neighborhood of South Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded around 11 p.m. to the intersection of Central Avenue and 50th Street after reports of gunfire.

Witnesses told police that two suspects approached the victims and opened fire multiple times before fleeing west on 50th Street.

The shooting also claimed the life of 49-year-old Taniya Delouth, who was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Pratt was taken to a hospital in critical condition but later died.

At this time, no descriptions of the suspects have been released, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities are seeking any information that could lead to arrests.
