Jordan Garcia dies in fatal San Antonio car crash

Fatal San Antonio car crash death of Jordan Garcia

Jordan Garcia, a 15-year-old teen, died early Friday morning following a crash that occurred after a confrontation with police on San Antonio’s Northwest Side.

Authorities said the deadly incident unfolded around 5:25 a.m. near the intersection of Huebner Road and Fredericksburg Road. Officers had just wrapped up a call when a vehicle approached them, and the individuals inside began provoking them by shouting and brandishing firearms.

Police reported that the vehicle quickly sped away from the scene after the taunting. Not long afterward, the same car was involved in a serious crash.

Jordan Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and three other passengers sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for emergency care.
