Fatal Victorville incident death of Michae Colquitt
Michae Colquitt, a 38-year-old man, was found dead Thursday morning near the Mojave Riverwalk trail in Victorville, California.
Deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to a medical aid call at Eva Dell Park around 9:39 a.m. on June 19. Upon arrival, they discovered Colquitt unresponsive on a dirt path in the vicinity of Old Town Victorville.
He was wearing dark blue jeans, a black sweater with white graphics, and had a white towel around his neck. Emergency crews confirmed his death at the scene.
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office arrived by early afternoon and removed the body by 12:45 p.m. Officials stated that foul play is not suspected at this time.
The exact cause of death remains unknown and will be determined pending autopsy results. No additional information has been provided so far.
