Fatal Mobile shooting death of Cordell Robinson

Police in Mobile have identified 46-year-old Cordell Robinson as the victim who was fatally shot near Wagner and Summerville Streets on the night of June 17.

The Mobile Police Department reported that officers responded to the 2100 block of Wagner Street around 9:15 p.m. following reports of gunfire.

Robinson was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries.

Authorities have not yet released information about a suspect or motive.
