Fatal Polo shooting death of Joshua Conway
Joshua Conway, a 19-year-old from rural Polo, was found dead from what authorities believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound following a violent incident reported in Polo, Illinois.
Michael Gul, 29, from Wauconda, was also discovered deceased within the same residence where the events unfolded.
The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office stated that deputies were dispatched late Saturday night to a home located in the 500 block of West Mason Street after receiving a report of gunfire.
Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Joshua Conway had allegedly taken a woman hostage at gunpoint inside the house. Fortunately, she and others present in the home managed to escape unharmed.
