Fatal Chisholm shooting death of Lindsey Adams

Lindsey Adams, 30, of Chisholm, has been confirmed as one of the victims in a deadly shooting that authorities believe was a murder-suicide. The incident took place Tuesday night in Chisholm, Minnesota, and also claimed the life of 34-year-old Leo Schweiss from Hibbing.

According to Chisholm police, the shooting left a third individual, 25-year-old Ryder Grove, injured. He was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Police reports indicate that the tragedy unfolded near 5th Street NW and 2nd Avenue NW. Officers responded to the scene and discovered one man wounded outside, while two others—a man and a woman—were later found deceased inside a nearby residence.

Authorities have not yet released full details on what led up to the violence, but early findings suggest that Adams and Schweiss died as a result of an apparent murder-suicide.

In a public statement, Chisholm Police Chief James Vukad expressed deep sorrow over the event, noting that both victims had children and families who are now coping with an unimaginable loss.

Investigators are continuing to analyze evidence and autopsy results to confirm what happened. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting in the investigation.
