Fatal North Branford Foxon Road crash death of Roger Munck

Roger Munck, an 85-year-old resident of North Branford, passed away Friday morning following a two-vehicle collision on Foxon Road, authorities reported.

The incident took place at approximately 10 a.m. near 999 Foxon Road, according to North Branford Police Chief James Lovelace and dispatch information.

Munck sustained severe injuries in the crash and was later pronounced dead at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Chief Lovelace expressed condolences to Munck’s family and friends, extending sympathies to all who knew him.

The South Central Regional Accident Reconstruction Unit is assisting local police in the ongoing investigation. Officials are currently reaching out to witnesses to gather more details about the crash.

The other driver involved suffered minor injuries and was also treated at Yale New Haven Hospital.
