Fatal Fort Bend County shooting death of Roy Ferrer
Roy Ferrer, 43, was found lifeless inside his vehicle along Highway 6 near West Bellfort on Saturday.
According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived just after midday, responding to a reported wreck. Upon inspection, they discovered Ferrer deceased in his car and immediately initiated a homicide probe.
Authorities believe the shooting resulted from a road‑rage incident, though the investigation remains active as they work to piece together the events that led to the tragedy.
