Law enforcement has confirmed the identity of the deceased individual involved in Thursday night’s incident near the Dorchester/Roxbury border. Officials identified the victim as 21-year-old Teo Vernice, who resided in Hyde Park.
Emergency services were dispatched shortly after 10 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered Mr. Vernice outside the reported location, suffering from what appears to be a gunshot wound. He was transported by Boston EMS to a nearby hospital where medical personnel later confirmed his death.
