A nineteen-year-old female, identified as Aniyah J. Davis, was pronounced deceased after being transported to a medical facility following a shooting incident in the Winter Park district of Danville. This tragic event occurred on Saturday evening, around ten o’clock, prompting multiple emergency service responses to the scene.
Upon law enforcement arrival, three individuals were discovered injured due to gunfire. Aniyah J. Davis was airlifted to a hospital where medical personnel confirmed her death. The other two casualties, both minors, were also transported for treatment; one remains in critical condition, while the second was discharged from care.
According to preliminary investigations by the Danville Police Department, the shooting involved multiple shots discharged from separate locations. Authorities have not yet apprehended a suspect and are actively seeking the individual responsible for this violent act.
