Fatal Prince George’s County car crash death of Sirlena Moore
Sirlena Moore, 42, lost her life in a deadly head-on collision that occurred Friday evening along Allentown Road in Fort Washington, according to police officials in Prince George’s County.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the 8400 block around 6:15 p.m., where they discovered Moore deceased at the crash site. Authorities say she had been driving southbound when, for reasons still under investigation, her vehicle veered across the center line and struck an oncoming car.
Moore’s passenger and the driver of the other vehicle were both injured in the crash but sustained only non-life-threatening injuries. They were evaluated and treated at the scene.
The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is continuing its investigation into the circumstances that led to the tragic crash.
