Vincent Norman dies in fatal Manhattan stabbing

Fatal Manhattan stabbing death of Vincent Norman

Vincent Norman, a 50-year-old man from Jersey City, New Jersey, was fatally stabbed inside the West 4th Street subway station in Manhattan last weekend.

Police officers performing a routine inspection around 4:25 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, discovered Norman unresponsive with a stab wound to the back of his neck at the southeast corner of Avenue of the Americas and West 4th Street. They immediately summoned emergency services.

Paramedics rushed Norman to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in critical condition, but he was later pronounced dead by hospital staff.

On Friday, June 20, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner officially ruled the death a homicide.

Authorities confirmed the victim’s identity as Vincent Norman, aged 50, from Jersey City. No suspect has yet been arrested, and investigators continue to pursue leads.

At this time, both the motive and any suspect descriptions remain undisclosed as the NYPD continues its active investigation.
