Fatal Little Rock shooting death of Andrew Osborne
Little Rock police on Tuesday afternoon identified the man killed during a Monday evening shooting, though authorities initially withheld further details regarding the incident. The fatal shooting occurred on Monday around 5:15 p.m. at the residence located at 602 Timber Hill Drive. Andrew Osborne, a 44-year-old male, was the victim. According to the initial police release, officers found Osborne on his porch and he refused commands to drop his weapon, which he was known to possess. He later succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. Police spokesperson Mark Edwards indicated that an official report detailing the incident was not prepared for release at that time.
