County officials have identified the man killed in the early morning hours of Sunday when he was struck and killed by at least one vehicle at a freeway off-ramp in Norwalk. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner Services identified the victim as 24-year-old Carlos Flores.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 1:25 a. m. at the Imperial Highway off-ramp. The specific location was the area connecting the southbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway to the westbound Glen Anderson (105) Freeway via the adjacent conversion road.

Early reports indicate Flores was dressed in a black shirt and khaki pants at the time of the accident. A representative from the Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene approximately three hours after the crash, arriving around 3:10 a.m.
