Diane Brady, 72, of Cedar Springs, lost her life in a devastating vehicle collision in Kent County.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Brady and 25‑year‑old Sam Deems, of Ravenna, were both killed when their vehicles collided in Casnovia Township on June 25, 2025 .
Deputies arrived at the site of the multi-vehicle crash and discovered both Brady and Deems unresponsive. Emergency personnel pronounced them dead at the scene .
Authorities say both drivers were properly licensed, and there is no indication of impairment on either side. Investigators are examining the specific factors—such as speed, road conditions, and driver actions—that led to the collision .
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who witnessed the accident or has relevant dash‑cam footage to get in touch, to assist with the ongoing investigation .
