Joseph Puciloski dies in fatal Beverly, Massachusetts plane crash
Fatal Beverly plane crash death of Joseph Puciloski
Prosecutors have officially identified Joseph Puciloski, a 28-year-old man from Malden, as the second person killed when the single-engine aircraft crashed near Beverly Municipal Airport on June 19th. According to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office, Puciloski succumbed to his severe injuries shortly after emergency responders arrived on the scene and transported him to a hospital via helicopter. He was the sole passenger on board the aircraft.
Beverly police confirmed the plane, piloted by 30-year-old Geoffrey Andrews of Melrose, departed the airport just before dawn. Tragically, Andrews was pronounced dead at the scene following the accident. First responders discovered both men confined within the severely damaged plane, which investigators reported was lodged against a utility pole.
The Federal Aviation Administration, the National Transportation Safety Board, and State Police are collaborating on the investigation to determine the cause of the crash. No ground injuries or property damage were reported in connection with the incident.
