King County’s Medical Examiner has officially confirmed the identity of the man killed in last Wednesday’s fatal incident outside the El Pique Restaurant in Burien. The office identified the deceased as 35-year-old Minh-Thuong T. Ly, whose death resulted from multiple firearm injuries. Investigators from the King County Sheriff’s Office have categorized this as a murder case.
Early Wednesday morning, just before 2 a.m., on June 18th, 2025, law enforcement responded to a shooting report in front of the business located at 14445 Ambaum Blvd SW. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found the victim already dead, positioned inside the driver’s seat of a vehicle that was parked close to the restaurant.
