Law enforcement officials announced a 15-year-old male has been formally charged with aggravated murder in the first degree in connection with the incident at the establishment. The teenager was processed for intake at the Baton Rouge Juvenile Correctional Facility.
The incident transpired shortly before daybreak Sunday, authorities detailed, pinpointing the area near the 3500 block of Choctaw Drive. Initial reports indicated a disturbance began when a group of females were involved in an altercation within the nearby parking facility. The primary fatality, identified as 25-year-old Prenesha Wagner, succumbed to injuries sustained during the crossfire. Five individuals suffered non-life-threatening wounds and were transported to medical institutions for treatment.
