Fatal Clayton County shooting death of Qi’Adrian Gordon
Police have confirmed the identity of a seventeen-year-old individual as the victim in a deadly incident occurring at a well-known retail establishment within Clayton County.
Officials state that the seventeen-year-old, identified as Qi’Adrian Gordon, was shot near a Kroger超市 located on Tara Boulevard during an attack on Wednesday evening.

Eyewitness accounts relayed to CHANNEL 2 ACTION NEWS indicate that a witness heard several shots being fired and observed the victim lying on the ground.
According to reports, individuals present at the shopping plaza also observed a vehicle rapidly departing the scene immediately following the sound of gunshots.
Gordon was pronounced deceased at the location where he was found.
A spokesperson for Marquita Jones expressed profound grief, stating, “It’s hurtful, it’s painful. You got to pray for the kid, for the mom,” while describing the overwhelming sadness witnessed as her crying.
Investigators have not yet identified any potential suspects or determined the possible motives behind this tragic event.
