Fatal Orange County deputies’ shooting of Todd Hannigan
Todd Hannigan, identified by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, was killed Monday afternoon at Isles at East Millenia Apartments on Lake Fountain Drive after reportedly charging at deputies with a knife. Deputies responded to a call from a woman who claimed Hannigan, who was 57, was on drugs and threatened her with a knife. She managed to escape before deputies shot him in self-defense.
