Tracy Ann Templeton dies in fatal Waterloo car crash

A 68-year-old woman from the Town of Waterloo, identified as Tracy Ann Templeton, died following a collision with an SUV at an intersection on Tuesday afternoon. According to Seneca County sheriff’s deputies, Templeton had the right of way, while the SUV driver failed to stop at a stop sign. The driver of the sport utility vehicle has been cited for the traffic violation.

The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. at Sessler Drive and Border City Road. Deputies confirmed Tracy Ann Templeton, who was operating a motorcycle, struck the side door of the SUV. The force of the impact caused her to be thrown from her motorcycle.

Templeton was transported to Geneva General Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The accident site was closed to traffic for approximately two hours to allow for investigation by authorities.
