Fatal Greenville shooting death of Tyquan Mayo
Tyquan Mayo, a 27-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene following Sunday’s incident on a street in Greenville.
Greenville police confirmed thirteen people were questioned after the shooting. Two teenagers, a 15-year-old male and a 16-year-old named Jaylen Hines, both from Greenville, are now facing charges in the case. Hines will be tried as an adult.
The charges against them include:
* One count of Murder.
* Two counts of Attempted Murder.
* One count of Discharging a Weapon into Occupied Property.
Greenville Police are still investigating the motive for the shooting. It appears the incident was the result of a disagreement between two groups of people.
