According to Louisville Metro Police, they were dispatched to the scene following reports of the accident on the bridge around 7:06 p.m.

Emergency Medical Services personnel arrived at the location and confirmed the motorcyclist’s death at the scene. A passenger in the other vehicle received medical attention and was transported to Norton Clark Hospital. Medical professionals assessed that the passenger’s injuries were not considered critical.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s office officially identified the deceased individual as Braden Patrick Cundiff, who was 38 years old at the time of his passing. The bridge experienced temporary closures but was reopened shortly after 11:00 p.m.
