Gloria Zamora dies in fatal Fontana shooting
Fatal Fontana shooting death of Gloria Zamora
Social media personality Gloria Zamora was killed when her former partner opened fire during a social outing at an Inland Empire retail park in Fontana. The initial aggressor is thought to be the ex-partner who approached Zamora and her companion.
According to the Fontana Police Department, law enforcement personnel arrived at the scene around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, located at 15218 Summit Avenue, discovering all three people injured by gunfire. Zamora and a 43-year-old gentleman were transported to a medical facility where medical staff pronounced them deceased. The suspected shooter died at the location.
An off-duty law enforcement officer from San Bernardino County discharged their weapon, resulting in the suspect’s death. The family of the deceased influencer identified the killer as her ex-boyfriend, Tomas. The other fatality was a gentleman named Hector Garduno, who was romantically linked to Zamora.
Further information indicates that the other man, Hector Garduno, was on a date with Zamora. Zamora, a mother of seven children, was identified through a fundraising page set up by her daughter, Jazlynne Zamora. The online campaign stated that Zamora was murdered by her stepfather, Tomas, using the term “senseless” to describe the act. Garduno’s daughters also established a fundraising effort, describing their father as a dedicated and diligent individual.
Garduno was a father to four daughters.
Chau Nguyen, a trauma specialist, explained that the period following the decision to depart an unhealthy relationship often presents the greatest risk. Warning indicators of an unhealthy union include jealousy, intimidation, and isolation. These elements were potentially present in Zamora’s situation.
Individuals experiencing or witnessing domestic violence can seek assistance through available resources. The Los Angeles County hotline can be reached at 1-800-978-3600, while a national service operates at 1-800-799-7233.
The information for this report was gathered from the Fontana Police Department and the online fundraising initiatives.
