Identification of those involved in the accident has been confirmed. The individuals are Carlos Pryce, aged 44, from Burnside Valley, Red Hills, in St Andrew, and Shandee Williams, who is 26, residing in Westmoreland.

Details from sources indicate that at about 5:00 in the early morning hours, Pryce was driving his 2005 Honda Fit, and Williams was behind the wheel of a 2012 Nissan Altima. Their vehicles collided in the vicinity of Chedwin Park along Old Harbour Road.

The collision resulted in severe damage to both cars, entangling the drivers within the wreckage.

Emergency services moved both individuals to Spanish Town Hospital, where medical personnel confirmed their deaths.

Investigators from the Accident Investigation and Reconstruction Unit are examining the scene to determine the cause of the incident, and the damaged automobiles have since been taken away for examination.
