Hope Bryant dies in fatal Fayetteville car crash
Fatal Fayetteville car crash death of Hope Bryant
On Saturday evening, authorities in Fayetteville issued a statement revealing that a third person had lost their life in the fatal Friday motor vehicle accident that had already resulted in two fatalities. The incident occurred shortly before 4:25 p.m. at the 1400 block of Cedar Creek Road, located near LA Dunham Road.
According to reports from the Fayetteville Police Department, the driver of a Dodge Charger was heading north on Cedar Creek Road when they lost control of the vehicle. This caused the Charger to cross the center line and collide with an oncoming Honda. The crash happened about one mile west of Interstate 95, and preliminary investigations suggest excessive speed may have been a factor.
In the Dodge Charger, Jermaine Stubbs, aged 42, was driving, and his 41-year-old passenger, Hope Bryant, was pronounced dead at the scene. Additionally, the driver of the Honda, identified as Marcia Adair-Davis, 51, survived the impact but was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries. A third individual, who was also in the Charger, suffered severe injuries but was treated for the accident.
The Fayetteville Police Department has confirmed that the crash is still under investigation. Anyone with potential information regarding this incident is urged to contact Detective J. Deal of the Fayetteville Police Division. His contact number is (910) 584-3692.
