Fatal Hilton Head Island boat crash death of James Montgomery
The Beaufort County Coroner’s Office has officially identified the two individuals who lost their lives in the weekend boat accident on Hilton Head Island. The victims are confirmed as Patsy Montgomery, age 73, and James Montgomery, age 76, both residents of Bluffton. The incident occurred Friday evening in the Skull Creek region. Tragically, two other individuals sustained injuries. The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is conducting a formal investigation into the circumstances surrounding this fatal accident.
