Somerset, Kentucky (FOX 56) — A woman from Monticello has passed away following a collision with a motor vehicle on Saturday evening. According to the Somerset deputy coroner, Linda Green, who was 39 years old, was crossing U.S. Highway 27 at night on June 28 when she was struck by a car, resulting in her death.
Her body was transported to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner’s office for a thorough autopsy. To date, authorities have not filed any criminal charges related to this incident.
