Fatal Ilkeston attack death of Luke Elliott-Shircore
Specialist officers are supporting the family of Luke Elliott-Shircore, who has requested privacy following his death at his Ilkeston residence. The 44-year-old was reportedly involved in an incident at the Aldi car park on Manor Road around 16:15 BST on May 25th.
Derbyshire Police confirmed that a man has been released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of murder related to the fatal assault. This 53-year-old suspect was apprehended following the incident.
An appeal has been issued by detectives for information regarding Mr. Elliott-Shircore’s death. The police have established a dedicated website to receive potential leads concerning the circumstances surrounding his demise.
Ch Insp Jen Lovatt stated that community members in the local area are believed to possess information about the attack which occurred at the Aldi car park between 16:00 and 17:00 on May 25th, and urges anyone with relevant knowledge to come forward.
