Investigators confirmed the identity of the third person killed in the early Sunday morning I-35 crash. The deceased is Maximo Ramirez, a 49-year-old resident of Greenville, Texas.
The fatal scene unfolded on northbound I-35 near Palm Valley Boulevard. Authorities dispatched emergency services to the location at approximately 2 a.m. on Sunday.
Round Rock law enforcement announced that Kearra Thomas, a 22-year-old from Belton, faces intoxication manslaughter charges. The suspect was apprehended following the multi-vehicle collision.
Identified victims include Agustin Guillen, who was 38 and resided in Georgetown, and Quinn Stegall, a 21-year-old from Round Rock. The third fatality, Maximo Ramirez, was 49 and lived in Greenville.
Police spokespersons emphasized that preliminary reports do not specify which driver was operating each involved vehicle. The ongoing investigation continues to piece together the events leading up to the tragedy.
