Fatal Hilton Head Island boat crash death of Patsy Montgomery
The Beaufort County Coroner’s Office issued an official statement identifying the victims from the recent waterborne incident on Hilton Head Island.
On Monday, they revealed that Patsy Montgomery, who was 73 years old, and James Montgomery, aged 76, both from the Bluffton area, were the ones who lost their lives.
The two individuals passed away immediately after the accident, which happened on Friday night in the Skull Creek vicinity.
Two other people were taken to medical facilities with injuries.
State officials from the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources are examining the circumstances surrounding the boating mishap.
