Fatal Houston shooting death of Anthony Sanders

A tragic shooting incident in Houston has left one man dead. The victim, identified as Marine veteran Anthony Sanders, lost his life in a parking garage in The Galleria. According to reports, the fatal shooting was the result of a personal dispute.

Sanders, who was 30 years old, was killed on June 3, 2025. The Orange Garage at The Galleria was the location of the incident. Law enforcement officials suggest the altercation may have been sparked by remarks made about Sanders’ fiancée. Tragically, their 10-month-old son was also present in the vehicle during the shooting.

The accused, Marko Cinan, is a 23-year-old man charged with murder in connection with this case. During the initial court appearance, a $1 million bond was established. Cinan’s next scheduled court date was postponed.

Sanders’ parents, both former military personnel, have chosen to publicly address their son’s death for the first time. They stated their intention to attend all future court proceedings in pursuit of justice. Frank Sanders, Anthony’s father, expressed deep sorrow and highlighted the senseless nature of the violence occurring in their community.

Described as a devoted family man and active church member, Sanders was considered to be on a positive life path and eagerly anticipating marriage. The Harris County District Attorney’s office reported that additional arrests might be forthcoming as the investigation continues. It was noted that Cinan has a prior record involving drug charges and auto theft convictions.
