Based on preliminary reports from the authorities, a pickup truck, model year 2022, heading east on U.S. 378 collided with a sedan, a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, which was being operated by Hernandez. The Camaro was moving in a southerly direction on Callison Highway at the time of the impact. Following the initial crash, Hernandez’s vehicle veered off the road and crashed into an earthen bank along the roadside.
