Fatal car crash death of Jennifer Lynn Bradshaw
GOLETA, California – The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that 42-year-old Jennifer Lynn Bradshaw was killed in a traffic accident on Calle Real in Goleta on Sunday.
Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash reported at approximately 12:55 a.m. on Sunday, June 29th, in the 7300 block of Calle Real, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The statement from the Sheriff’s Office indicates the 68-year-old driver stepped away from her path due to bright headlights from oncoming traffic. This action caused her vehicle to drift toward the roadside.
Emergency responders located an adult female near the vehicle, later identified as Bradshaw. Despite their efforts, they pronounced her death at the scene, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
Investigators suggest the driver was unaware she had struck a pedestrian until informed by deputies at the location. The Sheriff’s Office stated drugs and alcohol were not considered factors in the incident.
The ongoing investigation continues, the Sheriff’s Office added.
