Fatal Albemarle shooting death of Jesus Carranco
A deadly domestic dispute in Albemarle, North Carolina, ended in tragedy Monday evening when police found two men shot to death inside a home on Amhurst Street.
According to the Albemarle Police Department, officers arrived at the scene around 5:35 p.m. and discovered the bodies of 34-year-old Jesus Carranco and 33-year-old Lucio Carranco inside the residence.
Authorities arrested 23-year-old Alex Meras at the scene. He has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.
Investigators confirmed that a domestic conflict led up to the shooting, although specific details about the incident have not yet been made public.
The case is still under investigation.
