A man named Scott Wentz, aged 60 years, residing in Grayslake, Illinois, was among two people who died recently in an airplane accident situated in Boone County.

The official responsible for investigating deaths in Boone County identified that Scott Wentz and a man named Kenneth Serzynski, who was 74 years old and from Beach Park, Illinois, died because their small plane came down. This happened on the weekend near Capron and Blaine Roads, ending in a field of corn.

Help arrived at the scene of the accident, but the two individuals involved were found already deceased.

Bodies of inquiry into the incident have been dispatched by the National Transportation Safety Board. The agency managing aviation matters and local law enforcement are also involved in the ongoing search for the reasons behind the event.
