Abra Munoz dies in fatal Colorado Springs motorcycle crash
Fatal motorcycle crash death of Abra Munoz
The El Paso County Coroner’s Office has identified one of the two motorcyclists killed in an Austin Bluffs Parkway collision on Sunday as Abra Munoz, who was 42.
Munoz was traveling eastbound on Austin Bluffs Parkway with Christopher Dumas, 35, when their motorcycle collided with a vehicle making a left turn from a nearby business parking lot. Both riders were pronounced dead at the scene by Colorado Springs police.
Emergency responders arrived quickly, but neither Dumas nor Munoz showed signs of life after the collision. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the incident remained at the scene and sustained no injuries.
The crash occurred on the northeast side of Colorado Springs, prompting an immediate investigation into the cause. Authorities are still determining which motorcyclist was operating the motorcycle at the time of the accident.
