A fatal automobile collision during the Fourth of July holiday weekend claimed the lives of a four-year-old boy and his father in Monroe, North Carolina. The incident resulted in the death of Ja’Miaz Robinson Broadway, aged four, and Wilson Antonio Broadway Jr., aged thirty-eight.

The collision took place on Sunday at approximately 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of East Franklin Street and Morgan Mill Road. Monroe Police indicated that the vehicle they were operating was traveling at an elevated speed when it collided and then ignited in flames. Emergency services arrived to find the car completely ablaze. Despite their best efforts, both Ja’Miaz and his father were pronounced deceased at the scene without being able to be saved.
