Fatal Flagstaff train collision death of Lily Tantillo
Official records indicate that Lily Tantillo, a 22-year-old female from Chandler, Arizona, was pronounced deceased following a collision with a train in northern Arizona on July 5.
According to the Flagstaff Police Department, emergency responders arrived at the intersection located at Route 66 and Switzer Canyon Boulevard around 12:30 a.m. The sole individual involved was identified as Tantillo.
Upon their arrival, medical personnel confirmed that Tantillo had already passed away at the scene. Police investigations revealed that, according to available reports, Tantillo was observed walking along the train tracks in an eastbound direction, with her back turned towards an approaching train. Authorities also noted that the train sounded its warning horn before the incident occurred.
The Flagstaff Police Department has confirmed that their ongoing investigation into this collision is in its preliminary stages.
