In the incident, a small passenger car and a larger pickup truck came into contact with each other. Following the impact, both motor vehicles spontaneously combusted, leading to the tragic outcome.
He did not survive the event and succumbed to his injuries directly at the site of the accident. The person operating the pickup truck, described as a 59-year-old male from the community of Carrollton, was provided with medical assistance and transported to a hospital for evaluation.
