Fatal Berlin, New Hampshire restaurant shooting death of Michael Gleason, Jr. – Obituary
Officials have identified the two people who lost their lives in an apparent murder-suicide at a New Hampshire restaurant over the weekend.
Berlin Police were called to La Casita restaurant on Hillside Avenue around 9:45 a.m. following reports of gunshots, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.
Inside the restaurant, officers discovered the body of 25-year-old Sandra Marisol Fuentes Huaracha behind the bar.
Moments later, police found 50-year-old Michael Gleason, Jr. deceased inside a bathroom.
Authorities confirmed that Gleason and Fuentes Huaracha had previously been in a relationship.
Autopsy results revealed that Fuentes Huaracha died from multiple shotgun wounds, with her death ruled a homicide. Gleason’s autopsy determined he died from a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head, and his death was ruled a suicide.
Investigators say evidence shows Michael Gleason, Jr. fatally shot Sandra Marisol Fuentes Huaracha before turning the weapon on himself. The investigation remains ongoing as officials continue to review the case.
