Fatal Berlin, New Hampshire restaurant shooting death of Sandra Marisol Fuentes Huaracha – Obituary
Authorities have released the identities of the two individuals who died during a suspected murder-suicide at a New Hampshire restaurant over the weekend.
Police in Berlin responded to reports of gunfire at La Casita restaurant on Hillside Avenue around 9:45 a.m., according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.
When officers arrived, they discovered 25-year-old Sandra Marisol Fuentes Huaracha deceased behind the bar area.
Shortly afterward, 50-year-old Michael Gleason, Jr. was located dead in one of the restrooms.
Investigators confirmed that the two had been involved in a previous romantic relationship.
Autopsies performed on Monday showed that Fuentes Huaracha sustained multiple shotgun wounds, and her death was officially classified as a homicide. Gleason’s cause of death was determined to be a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head, and his death was ruled a suicide.
Based on the current findings, investigators believe Michael Gleason, Jr. fatally shot Sandra Marisol Fuentes Huaracha before taking his own life. The investigation remains active as authorities continue to examine the case.
