Anthony Michael Rapuano, a 64-year-old man from North Haven, lost his life in a serious automobile collision around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Main Street and Old Cemetery Road in Durham, Connecticut State Police reported.

Investigating officers stated that Mr. Rapuano’s vehicle, a Toyota Avalon, deviated from its lane and impacted the right edge of the roadway. It subsequently collided with a barrier, a traffic sign, and a power line structure before stopping. Paramedics arrived at the scene and confirmed his death.
The thoroughfare was shut down for several hours as officials cleared scattered fragments from the road and completed their examination of the incident.
