Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office reports that the deceased was a 26-year-old man named David Bahrami, who was a resident of Antioch. The call reported a threat of violence in the home, with the suspect allegedly wielding a knife.
No details regarding the officer involved in the shooting have been released. Additionally, authorities have not shared any footage from body-worn cameras, as per standard departmental procedures.
