The crash occurred on Court Street and Century Drive around 4:30 p.m. Emergency services were dispatched to the location after receiving reports of a serious accident involving multiple vehicles. Upon arrival, officers discovered evidence of a significant collision between a sedan and an SUV.

The individuals identified as victims are Safwan Aziz, aged 49, from Binghamton, and Rafael Cuadra, aged 71, from Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. Both drivers sustained fatal injuries in the accident. According to police reports, excessive speed was cited as a contributing factor in the collision. Authorities emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and that anyone with potential information is being urged to contact the Binghamton Police Detective Bureau.

A third individual involved in the crash was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not considered immediately life-threatening.
