Fatal Knoxville car crash death of Kodie Morocco
Kodie Morocco, aged 21 from Knoxville, lost his life in a collision involving a car and a motorcycle. The fatal crash happened at the intersection of Broadway and Rose Drive during the early morning hours of July 8th at approximately 8:45 a.m.
According to information provided by the Knoxville Police Department in their official news release, the accident started when an SUV attempted to cross all four lanes of traffic proceeding from the Old Broadway intersection to access the shopping center located at 2901 Tazewell Pike. Kodie Morocco, who was operating his motorcycle while traveling northbound on Broadway, collided with the passenger side of the SUV.
Following the impact between Morocco’s motorcycle and the SUV, the vehicle then struck a building situated within the shopping center complex. The unfortunate incident resulted in Morocco’s immediate death at the scene. The driver of the SUV was transported to a hospital for medical treatment following the collision.
