Fatal West Philadelphia shooting death of full name of deceased victim Carmen Suero Jr.
Police have identified the seventy-year-old man killed in West Philadelphia during an incident on Sunday. He is from Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.
According to law enforcement, officers arrived at the location, North 63rd Street, around 5:07 p.m. to find Suero shot in the back. Emergency services transported him to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was confirmed deceased at 5:24 p.m. that afternoon.
Investigators are of the opinion that the fatal shooting was linked to an attempt to steal the victim’s car. At this time, no suspects have been arrested by the authorities.
