Delaware State Police have officially identified the deceased individual, who was 27 years old, as Devin Flamer from Bridgeville.
The fatal accident unfolded in the early hours of Saturday morning, specifically just before 5 a.m. on July 12. Authorities reported that Flamer’s Buick Century was moving rapidly south on Wilson Farm Road when it approached the junction with Cannon Road and did not slow down, leading to a loss of control.
Investigators stated that the vehicle subsequently crossed over the Conrail Road barrier, experienced erratic movements as it left and re-entered the roadway, and ultimately collided with a solid obstruction, resulting in a rollover.
It was noted by law enforcement that Flamer was not adequately fastened in the vehicle, and emergency responders found him deceased at the accident site.
