Justin Ciaccia dies in fatal Levittown shooting
Fatal Levittown shooting death of Justin Ciaccia
Authorities have confirmed that 33-year-old Justin Ciaccia of Bristol Township was fatally shot outside a residence in Levittown, Pennsylvania, on July 12, 2025.
The deadly incident occurred on the front lawn of a home located on Quickset Road in the Quincy Hollow section of Middletown Township. According to police, Ciaccia sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two others were injured in the same shooting, including Ciaccia’s 57-year-old father-in-law, Joseph Williams. Police say the shooting followed an argument involving Ciaccia and Williams that escalated into violence around 10:30 p.m., during which roughly a dozen rounds were fired.
Williams, who had previously resided at the home, was shot in the torso and leg while inside the house. He underwent emergency surgery at St. Mary Medical Center and was reported to be in stable condition as of July 14.
A 33-year-old woman from Hulmeville, who was also present at the scene but unrelated to either man, suffered a head injury during the gunfire. She was transported to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital and also underwent surgery. Her condition was listed as stable.
Middletown police are still trying to determine whether Ciaccia died from a self-inflicted wound or a shot fired from within the house. Capt. Peter Feeney noted that no criminal charges have been filed yet and that the investigation remains ongoing.
Officers were initially dispatched to the scene for a report of an armed person. The call was quickly upgraded when the sound of gunfire was recorded in the background of the 911 call.
Early findings suggest that Ciaccia was outside the home when he fired into it. Investigators are working to establish whether anyone inside returned fire. At this time, only Williams and Ciaccia are believed to have discharged firearms.
Police have found no prior disturbances at the address, which records show was purchased in 2019 by Williams’ wife, the current homeowner.
An autopsy for Ciaccia was scheduled for July 14 as the investigation into the shooting continues.
