The Lake County Coroner officially identified the deceased individual killed in a recent violent incident. Tristan Tomak, who was nineteen years of age and a resident of Valparaiso, has been confirmed as the victim. This tragic event resulted in a homicide and occurred externally to a specific apartment complex within the city of Hobart.
The official cause of death was determined by the coroner’s office to be multiple gunshot wounds. A second individual sustained injuries from the same incident. Local law enforcement, the Hobart Police Department, made the victim’s identity public through their official social media channels earlier in the week.
According to reports obtained from the department’s online presence, the shooting incident took place around 5:00 p.m. It happened within the 300 block of North Lake Park Avenue, specifically at the location known as the Haven Apartments.
